Our Portable Container House range covers 20FT, 30FT, and 40FT configurations — each engineered to fold down for standard container shipping and expand on-site into a fully functional living or working space of 37–72㎡. Units arrive pre-wired and pre-plumbed, so site preparation time is significantly reduced compared to conventional construction methods.
What Is This Product?
This product is a steel-framed unit built in a factory, and it folds flat for transport. On site it opens back up. No heavy civil foundation work is needed. That folding mechanism squeezes the unit down to a fraction of its deployed width, so it rides in a standard 40HQ container. When your project or plans change, you can move it again.
Our units open from a compact folded form to a usable floor area of 37–72㎡. The 20FT trailer-mounted version adds road mobility — attach it to a vehicle and deploy it on arrival.

Shipping note: each 40HQ container holds two 20FT units. With 30FT and 40FT sizes, one unit goes in per 40HQ.
Structure & Materials
At the core of every unit sits the galvanized steel frame. Thickened columns and reinforced structural supports carry the load and keep the unit stable. Cast-iron corner fittings sit on the top and the bottom. They stop the frame from deforming while the unit is loaded and unloaded.
Walls & Roof
- External wall: 75mm EPS sandwich panel
- Internal wall: 50mm EPS sandwich panel
- Roof center: 50mm EPS sandwich board with 1.5mm galvanized steel panel
- Roof edges: 50mm EPS sandwich board with 1.8mm fiberglass-reinforced waterproof board
Floor
- Standard: 18mm sanding board + 2mm vinyl flooring
- Optional upgrade: 18mm MgO board + 4mm SPC click floor
Rain falls hard in some places. Humidity stays high too. For those conditions, the wall and floor systems use a sealed waterproofing design.
Performance Ratings
The steel frame and panel system are rated for the following conditions:
- Fire resistance: Class A fire rating
- Wind resistance: Up to Grade 11 winds
- Seismic resistance: Handles earthquakes up to Grade 9
Coastal zones can be tough. Mountainous regions are as well. So are emergency response deployments. With these ratings, a portable container house works as a practical option in all three.
Pre-Installed Fittings
The factory does the wiring and plumbing before the unit ships. That cuts down the work left to do on site.
Electrical system: LED lighting, switches, and sockets wired to AU/CE/US standards — connect to your local power supply to activate.
Plumbing system: PPR water pipes and PVC drain pipes installed to AU/CE/US standards.
Doors & windows:
- Aluminum frame double-glazed sliding entrance door (1930×2270mm) with fly screen
- 7–11× aluminum frame double-glazed sliding windows (930×1100mm) depending on model
- Its own kitchen window, plus a 500×500mm bathroom window
Bathroom: Comes with a toilet, a glass sliding shower room, a mirror, and a vanity.
Kitchen: You get the kitchen cabinet. The layout can be changed, and so can the finishes and the extra fittings.

A: Once folded, the unit is narrow. The 20FT model comes down to 2260mm. That means it fits in a standard 40HQ container, and no special equipment is needed. Each container holds two 20FT units. A vehicle can tow the 20FT trailer version straight away.
Q: How fast can the unit be put up on site?
A: Basic setup needs no heavy construction machinery, because the folding design opens out on its own. Compared with ordinary building methods, that cuts deployment time. Site conditions and configuration will change how long the actual setup takes.
Q: Can the unit be relocated after installation?
